The 2025 Kia K4 is a compact sedan designed to shake up a conservative category. The new K4, which is the successor to the long-standing Kia Forte, offers bold styling. At first glance, it appears to be a two-door coupe, but it's actually a four-door sedan.
Plus, this model isn't just about appearances. It also has an AI-powered digital assistant for the infotainment system and Kia's Highway Driving Assist 2 for long drives. There are also a ton of comfort features inside the K4's cabin, such as ventilated front seats.
The 2025 Kia K4 comes in the following five trim models:
● LX
● LXS
● EX
● GT-Line
● GT-Line Turbo

The 2025 Kia K4 features design elements borrowed from the EV9. It has a tech-savvy interior with two displays on the dashboard, one for the gauge cluster and another for infotainment. A horizontal air vent and physical buttons for climate and audio controls are below those displays. Kia's build quality for the K4 is impressive, showcasing modern materials and textures throughout the cabin.
The K4 outperforms its competitors in terms of cabin space. Even adults will have plenty of space to sit comfortably. There is even room for a fifth person if you need it.
There is a slight decrease in trunk space from 15.3 to 14.6 cubic feet when passengers are in the rear, but it still offers more space than many competitors. The rear 60/40 split seats can be folded to provide additional cargo room.
You'll also welcome the K4’s available wireless phone charging capabilities, dual cup holders, and a center console storage bin up front. Each of the four doors also has a pocket with a bottle holder.
A multi-screen arrangement on the K4's upper trims combines two 12.3-inch displays into one continuous panel. The first is a reconfigurable gauge cluster, while the second controls navigation, radio, and climate. The new K4 also comes equipped with Android Auto™, Apple CarPlay®, SiriusXM satellite radio, and in-dash navigation.
Although the new K4 looks like a coupe or hatchback at first glance, it is a sedan. C-pillars are cleverly used to hide rear door handles. The front and rear of this car feature sleek vertical LED lights, enhancing its overall appearance. The K4 is about 1 inch longer than its competitors and 3 inches longer than the previous Forte.
The 2025 K4 is available in the following colors:
● Interstellar Gray
● Snow White Pearl
● Aurora Black Pearl
● Currant Red
● Deep Sea Blue
● Morning Haze
The 2025 Kia K4 has a 147-hp, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, a front-wheel drive, and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Essentially, it's the same setup as the 2024 Forte.
In the GT-Line Turbo trim level, Kia offers an even more powerful engine: a turbocharged 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine producing 190 horsepower. Instead of the CVT, this version comes with a traditional eight-speed automatic transmission. The GT-Line Turbo also has an upgraded multi-link rear suspension, while other K4 models use a torsion beam.
All variants of the K4 offer a smooth ride, thanks to Kia's efforts to reduce noise, vibrations, and overall harshness on roads.
● 12.3-Inch Infotainment Display
● Four-Speaker Sound System
● USB with External Media Control
● Satellite Radio
● Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ Compatibility
● Stability Control
● Traction Control
● Collision Warning
