  • 1 eight ounce package of cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup of canned pumpkin
  • 1 eight ounce can of crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 2 cups of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 (2 1/2 ounce) package of dried beef, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of finely chopped onion
  • 1 green pepper stem
  • Crackers or assorted fresh vegetables

Pumpkin Cheese Ball Preparation Instructions

You don’t need a lot of time to prepare this scrumptious recipe, but you will need to allow enough time to chill it before serving. Follow the easy instructions below to make a tasty cheese ball in only 20 minutes.

  1. Grab a large mixing bowl and beat the cream cheese, pumpkin and pineapple.
  2. Stir in the cheddar cheese, beef and onions.
  3. Shape the mixture into a large ball.
  4. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap.
  5. Wrap the ball with four pieces of cheese or four rubber bands to create indentations that resemble a pumpkin.
  6. Let the cheese ball chill in the fridge for at least one hour.
  7. Carefully remove the string or rubber bands, then unwrap the cheese ball and set it on a platter.
  8. Remove the stem from the green pepper and add it to the top of the cheese ball to serve as the pumpkin’s stem.
  9. Slice the remaining pepper and serve it with the crackers and assorted fresh vegetables.
